A 100% NATURAL CLOSURE

Our stoppers pass through our own process called Blue System Cork that guarantees maximum quality for closing the best wines.

After the second boiling of the cork sheets in our facilities, we discard those not suitable for producing stoppers, to work only with those of top quality.

Depending on the length of stopper to be produced, we go on to slice and perforate it to obtain a stopper of the desired length and calibre.

At this point, the first physical selection is done electronically, separating the unusable stoppers according to our standards.

Our selection process continues with a further visual selection using 3D technology, which classifies the stopper into different qualities. We then carry out the manual selection, the disinfecting wash, the personalisation, the surface treatments, and the final quality, packaging and dispatch check.

PERSONALISATION

THE CORK STOPPER AS A COMMUNICATION ELEMENT

The consumer demands cork. And cork, duly personalised, is an excellent marketing and communication element.

  • In the United States, 93% of consumers associate the cork stopper with quality wines. Tragon Corporation (2013).
  • In France, 83% of wine consumers prefer cork. OpinionWay (2014).
  • In Italy, 85% consider the cork stopper the best method of sealing to guarantee the product’s quality. Astra Ricerche (2014).
  • In China, 85% of consumers believe that wines sealed with a cork stopper are of better quality. CTR Market Research (2014).
  • In Spain, 92% of consumers prefer cork stoppers as a seal. Cork initiative (2012).

The quality cork stopper is the seal that culminates a good wine, and it would not be complete without the winery’s personal brand. The cork stopper is also an element of communication and promotion of the winery with its clients, and a way of distinguishing it from the competition at the decisive moment of uncorking. And also much later, considering that it is often the last element of a wine that the consumer keeps when the bottle is finished.

We personalise our stoppers according to each client’s design, using different techniques:

  • Traditional fire-branded.
  • Technique with ink that is certified, with no heavy metals or toxic elements.

Innovative technique of laser marking, that opens a door to the imagination.
